Chai Almond Granola

  • 2 tbsp flax seed ground
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almonds slivered
  • 1/4 cup Earth Balance butter melted
  • 4 tbsp warm water
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup pure
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom ground
  • 1/2 tsp ginger ground
  • 1/4 tsp all spice powder
  • 1/8 tsp clove ground
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees while you line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Add all the dry ingredients but the salt to a medium sized mixing bowl. Mix well, then add salt to taste. Pour the melted butter, water, maple syrup over the dry mix and stir to incorporate.
  • Spoon the mixture onto the prepared sheet pan and press down to about 1/4 inch of thickness.
  • Bake for 22 to 25 minutes; until the edges start to brown or until the mix is no longer wet.
  • After granola completely cools, store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
