  • 3 tbsp Earth Balance Butter
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 2 stalks celery diced
  • 2/3 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 3/4 tsp sage
  • 3/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 12 slices dry bread no bleached flour, chopped into small cubes
  • 1 cup dried cranberries low sugar
  • 1 apple cored and diced
  • 1/2 cup apple juice fresh-squeezed, no added sugar or preservatives

  • 1/8 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper to taste


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a medium pan on low heat, melt butter. Add onions, celery, and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms and onions are soft, about 5 minutes. Add in sage, thyme, and marjoram and heat 1 more minute.
  • In a large bowl, combine the onions mixture with all the remaining ingredients, adding the broth in slowly until well moistened. It may take slightly less or more of the broth to achieve the proper moisture.
  • Transfer the stuffing to a large casserole dish and bake for 22 minutes.
