Ingredients
  

  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms diced
  • 1/2 block silken tofu crumbled
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce low sodium, NO SODIUM BENZOATE
  • 14 plant-based dumpling wrappers
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, gently mash the avocado with a fork.
  • Add the mushrooms, tofu, garlic, and balsamic vinegar and mash until mixed.
  • Place approximately 1 1/2 teaspoons of the filling into the middle of each of the wrappers. Fold in half and pinch closed. Hint: dip your fingertips in a small amount of water to help seal the dumplings.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet. Gently add dumplings and fry for 1 minute. Add in approximately 1/2 of water and cover. Continue to cook for 3 1/2 minutes.
  • Serve with soy sauce.
