Mix all the marinade ingredients together in a large bowl.
Place the wheat gluten pieces in the marinade; mix well. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for about 2 hours then remove pieces from the marinade and set to the side.
In a large skillet over medium heat, pour enough of the broth to thinly coat the bottom of the pan and cook the pieces for 5 minutes on each side. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Tip: Reserve some of the marinade as a flavoring for a homemade gravy for your "steak".
