Homemade Whole Wheat Pie Crust

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup Earth Balance butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water


  • Mix flour, salt and butter in a medium bowl.
  • Fold in the butter until crumbly.
  • Slowly add the water a tablespoon at a time until you can form a dough.
  • Roll out the dough and then press into a pie pan. Use your thumb to fingers to create the edging. It is now ready to be filled.


ALERT!!!! be very careful with this recipe, the fats for the whole pie crust are 136. Eating more than 1 piece of pie will add too many fats to your daily values.
Also this recipe has no nutrition facts because the manufactures of the wheat flour and Earth Balance Butter did not supply them.
