Overnight Three Grain Porridge

  • Stove


  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup millet rinsed
  • 1/2 cup white quinoa rinsed
  • 1/4 cup amaranth rinsed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups almond milk unsweetened, unflavored
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon ground
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg ground
  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries fresh
  • 2 tbsp date syrup


  • Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan over high heat. Remove pan from the heat and stir in millet, quinoa, amaranth, and salt. Cover saucepan and let sit at room temperature overnight.
  • In the morning stir in the hemp milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg then heat pan over medium-high heat till simmering. Reduce the heat to medium low and cook until grains are fully tender and mixture has thickened; about 8-10 minutes.
  • Stir in blueberries and date syrup and serve. Enjoy!
