  • Food Processor


  • 15 oz chickpeas canned, drained, rinsed
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh squeezed, no sugar added or preservatives
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp coriander dried
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne powder
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and pulse until well mixed. Add 1 tbsp of water at a time while mixing to make sure you get the right consistency.
  • Scrape down the sides several times to make sure everything is incorporated.
  • Enjoy with whole wheat crackers or as spread on a sandwich.
