Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown rice long-grain
- 6 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp agave nectar
- 1/8 tsp salt to taste
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, add rice and water. Bring to boil and cover. Simmer for 1 hour. Remove from heat and add the vanilla. Allow rice mixture to cool.
- Pour 1/2 of the rice mixture into a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and repeat with the remaining rice mixture. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Strain the rice mixture through a piece of cheesecloth. Add in the agave and salt to taste.
