  • Oven


  • 1 pound fresh asparagus cleaned, trimmed and chopped
  • 3/4 cup mushrooms chopped
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp soy sauce low sodium, NO SODIUM BENZOATE
  • 1/2 tsp agave nectar
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spread chopped asparagus and mushrooms on a foil covered baking sheet. Roast in oven for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and drizzle with sesame oil, soy sauce, and agave. Gently toss to coat the veggies.
  • Place back into the oven and cook for an additional 6 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the sesame seeds over veggies and serve immediately.
