  • Slow Cooker (2 or 4 quart)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1/2 cup onion minced
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper minced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups vegetable broth ***Click on our Homemade Vegetable Broth link
  • 16 oz okra fresh, sliced
  • 28 oz tomatoes crushed, fire roasted
  • 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp thyme dried
  • 1 tsp oregano dried
  • 1 tsp marjoram dried
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper fresh cracked

Instructions
 

  • Add all of the ingredients except the salt and pepper to your 2 or 4 quart slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours; stirring once an hour to prevent anything from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
  • Before serving add the salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
