  • 1 whole white onion diced
  • 1 tsp garlic fresh, chopped
  • 2 large tomatoes fresh, diced
  • 1 15oz can black beans low sodium, no additives, drain and rinse
  • 1 4oz can green chilies mild, drain
  • 2 tbsp lime juice fresh squeezed
  • 1/4 cup cilantro freshly chopped
  • 1 large red pepper washed and diced
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp blk pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tbsp sea salt


  • Dice onion, red pepper and tomatoes and place in a large bowl.
  • Chop garlic and cilantro and place in bowl in other ingreidents.
  • Drain and rinse black beans and add to bowl.
  • Drain green chilies and add to bowl
  • Add 2 tbsp of lime juice to the bowl.
  • Add chopped cilantro to bowl.
  • Add cumin, black pepper, cayenne and sea salt to bowl.
  • Mix all ingredients well and serve


This pico is always a hit. Use in wraps, burritos, salads and more.
