Fig and Almond Oatmeal

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 3/4 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup figs dried, diced
  • 1/2 cup almonds sliced
  • 3 tbsp date syrup
  • 1/4 cup flaxseeds
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon ground
  • 2 cups almond milk unsweetened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Pour the water into a medium sized pot then bring to a boil over high heat.
  • Stir in all of the other ingredients then reduce heat to medium.
  • Cook and stir for 6 to 7 minutes or until oatmeal is thick and creamy. Serve in individual bowls. Enjoy!
