Lisa's Mac N Cheese
This is a great tasting Mac and Cheese without the baggage!
Equipment
- 8x8 cooking dish
- small frying pan
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup Cheese Sauce Click on link for recipe (use all the sauce from this recipe)
- 8 oz Elbow Macaroni Pasta chickpea, brown rice or whole wheat
- 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 2 tbsp Earth Balance Butter
Instructions
- Cook pasta as per instructions on the package, then drain and rinse.
- Mix in the cheese sauce in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour Mac N Cheese mixture into 8x8 cooking pan, spreading the mixture out.
- In a small frying pan combine 2 tbsp of Earth Balance Butter and Panko breadcrumbs unit they are well mixed.
- Spread breadcrumbs mixture evenly on top of Mac N Cheese in 8x8 cooking dish.
- Bake on 350° for 25 minutes.
- Salt and Pepper to taste.
